Enhancing our processes to serve you better
As Microsoft continues to roll out changes related to Microsoft New Commerce Experience (NCE) and billing frequency, the team at Dicker Data is constantly exploring ways to simplify and streamline processes for our partners. To ensure that we keep up with these evolving requirements, we are excited to announce a significant update to the format of our stock codes. This change is designed with several key benefits in mind:
- Clearly identify billing frequency
- Highlight promotional SKUs
- Support future enhancements such as variable uplifts based on billing plans
This update is aimed at future-proofing our systems while offering greater clarity and flexibility around subscription details. As such we will be amending the format of our stock codes from the existing format:
Old Format:
- TERM DURATION: P1Y
- PRODUCT ID: CFQ7TTC0LFLZ
- SKU: 001L
- Description: Microsoft 365 E5 (no Teams)
- Commitment: 1 Yr Commit
New Format:
- TERM DURATION: 1Yr Commit
- PRODUCT ID: Microsoft 365 E5 (No Teams)
- SKU: Commercial
- BILLING PLAN: Billed Monthly
- PROMO CODE: No Promo
Please note that while the stock code format will be changing, pricing will remain the same and continue to reflect the full-term commitment as it does today.
We’re planning to migrate all existing tenants and subscriptions to the new format over the coming week. and wanted to give our partners advance notice in preparation for this rollout.
