Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program (MACPP)
This is Microsoft’s global program supporting partners across Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Security — with a strong focus on AI.
Indirect Resellers gain access to cloud and AI training, customer engagement tools (CPOR/PAL), and potential incentives. By aligning with Microsoft’s AI priorities, resellers can drive growth, gain recognition, and unlock program benefits.

Solution Partner Designations
Solution Partner Designations recognise a partner’s capability to deliver customer success across key Microsoft solution areas: Azure, Modern Work, Security, Business Applications, Data & AI, and Digital & App Innovation.
Indirect Resellers can work towards these designations by meeting performance, skilling, and customer success criteria — helping build credibility, unlock go-to-market benefits, and differentiate in a competitive cloud and AI services landscape.

Incentives Program for Indirect Resellers
Indirect Resellers may be eligible for Microsoft incentives including rebates for Azure and Microsoft 365 growth, customer adds, and usage expansion.
To participate, resellers must meet program requirements, ensure their customers are linked correctly via PLA (commonly refered to MPN ID) Partner Of Record (POR) or Partner Admin Link (PAL). Incentives help support sales motions, drive adoption, and reward customer success.

Co-op and Marketing Development Funds (MDF)
Indirect Resellers may access Microsoft-funded (CO-OP) marketing dollars from Microsoft if they meet the minimum revenue earning criteria. This can be used for such things as demand generation, events, or solution promotion if approved by Microsoft. Marketing activities can help increase visibility, drive cloud growth, and strengthen customer engagement.

Incentives & Earnings
Microsoft Incentives are financial rewards that partners earn for driving customer adoption and growth of Microsoft solutions. They are typically earned through activities such as selling licenses, driving Azure consumption, securing customer success through usage and deployment, and achieving Partner Capability Scores and Solution Designations.
Investing time in incentives is worthwhile because they:
- Offset costs by providing rebates and funding for sales, marketing, and customer projects.
- Support business growth by rewarding partners for expanding Microsoft solution usage.
- Improve competitiveness by enabling partners to reinvest in skills, customer engagement, and innovation.

CSP Incentives
Microsoft Partner Capability Score – 25-Point Option: Microsoft has introduced a more flexible route to incentive eligibility for Indirect Reseller (CSP) partners under its FY26 program:
- Traditionally, earning a full Solutions Partner designation required a Partner Capability Score (PCS) of at least 70 points (out of 100), with at least one point in each of the three core categories: Performance, Skilling, and Customer Success partner.microsoft.com.
- Now, Indirect Reseller partners may qualify for CSP incentives by achieving a minimum of 25 capability points in a given solution area—without needing to attain a full Solutions Partner designation. This incentive is applicable to partners currently transacting $25,000 TTM USD annually and can obtain and retain the 25 points incentives.
