Meet the Team: Meenakshi Jaglan (MJ)

For Meenakshi Jaglan, a career in technology has never been about following a fixed path. It’s been about staying open to change, learning as she goes and finding new ways to connect people, ideas and opportunity.

“I’ve spent nearly 25 years in IT and telecommunications across sales and marketing, business development, product analytics and channel roles. Every move has taught me something different, but the common thread has always been helping people understand the value technology can create.”

MJ joined Dicker Data eight years ago, beginning in Business Development with the Cisco team through Cisco Refresh before moving into Product Marketing. Today, she leads marketing for the Cisco and Everpure businesses, working closely with product, sales, technical, vendor and partner teams.

“What I enjoy most is taking a strategic idea and bringing it to life through campaigns, events and flagship programs that create real momentum. It’s about connecting the right teams, creating experiences that partners remember, and turning strategy into meaningful engagement and growth.”

That same thinking carries into the areas MJ is most excited about right now, particularly AI and cybersecurity.

“There’s so much opportunity in helping partners bring these conversations back to their customers in a practical way. AI and cybersecurity can feel complex, but when we work together across product, technical, sales and marketing, we can make those opportunities clearer and more actionable.”

For MJ, the strength of the Cisco and Pure team comes down to more than expertise.

“We have such a strong mix of leadership, sales, commercial, technical and marketing experience, but what makes the team special is the way everyone backs each other. It feels like a big family, and when you have that kind of trust and collaboration, you can move quickly and deliver better outcomes for partners.”

That partner focus is especially important as organisations look to get more from their Cisco and Pure investments.

“There’s a real opportunity to bring networking, security and infrastructure together in a more integrated way. With the right support, partners can uncover new opportunities, strengthen customer relationships and create greater value from the technologies they already work with.”

Asked what advice she would give to others building their careers, MJ comes back to the mindset that has guided her own.

“Stay curious and don’t be afraid to reinvent yourself. Technology changes quickly, and so do careers. Some of the best opportunities come from taking on a challenge, learning something new or following a path you didn’t expect.”

Outside of work, that same openness shows up in the way MJ spends her time.

“Family, travel and making memories are everything to me. I love spending time with my husband, son and parents, discovering new places together, cooking, trying new things and saying yes to new adventures.”

It’s that mix of curiosity, connection and willingness to keep evolving that makes MJ such a valued part of the Dicker Data team.
