Dicker Data to Distribute Equinix
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – 29 August 2024: Dicker Data (ASX: DDR) (Company) is pleased to announce its appointment as a distributor of Platform Equinix®. This partnership enables Dicker Data to distribute Equinix’s (NASDAQ: EQIX) comprehensive suite of Data Centre and Interconnection Services across Australia, helping customers enhance their operational efficiency and scalability.

Dicker Data at Kurnell develops walking trail and plants 133,000 trees and shrubs for staff 'time out'
Tech company Dicker Data has created a 1.6km walking trail, surrounded by 133,000 trees and shrubs, at its Kurnell headquarters to give employees a place for "time out" amid nature for their mental and physical wellbeing.
The majority of plants are native to the local area and designed to promote a healthy ecology for surrounding flora and fauna.
The company says there has already been "a surge" in native wildlife to the site.
A group of staff, some of whom have worked with animal rescue organisation WIRES, are helping identify and nurture wildlife on the site.Dicker Data, a leading distributor of hardware, software, cloud, cybersecurity, access control and surveillance, moved into its new custom designed and built, $74 million offices and distribution centre at Kurnell in early 2021.
The walking trail development and plantings were carried out in conjunction with the build.
Cronulla MP and Attorney-General Mark Speakman officially opened the walking trail on Friday.
NSW Environment Minister James Griffin also attended.
Mr Speakman said the initiative provided "a peaceful surround for an otherwise bustling hub".
Mr Griffin, said, "It is important to acknowledge the role businesses play in conservation and the environment".
"Organisations like Dicker Data come to the fore and operate outside the ordinary to take care of the environment today for future generations," he said. David Dicker, the company's chairman and chief executive, said the wellbeing of staff and the environment was central to the design of the new campus.
"We set out to create spaces that would attract the best people and an unexpected, yet welcome, by-product has been the surge in native wildlife that frequent the site," he said.
"Our new headquarters has strengthened Dicker Data's sustainability narrative, in addition to the company already being one of the largest distributors of sustainable technology solutions in the country."
The development includes a range of other features to reduce the impact on the environment, including:
- Nearly 700 solar panels, which give the company the capacity to operate
completely off-grid under certain weather circumstances. - Eight electric car charging stations.
- Offices have low emissive glass to reduce glare and lower the requirement
for heating and cooling which in turn lowers energy consumption. - Rainwater is captured and recycled into the site irrigation system and toilet
facilities.

The purchase price, based on a premium to the net assets sold, is $19.35m. A final adjustment for balance sheet items
will occur before the end of May 2022. Effective Monday, 02 May 2022, the acquisition will see Dicker Data transition
more than 100 of the Hills team members and novate over 50 vendor contracts.
Following the Company’s acquisition, the Hills SIT division will now be recognised as Dicker Data Access and Surveillance,
or DAS. This marks the dawn of a new era in security technology distribution as Dicker Data enters the market vowing to
deliver the highest service levels from highly certified technical pre and post sales teams, providing just-in-time access
to a comprehensive range of solutions the Company’s customers are already familiar with.

The new DAS business unit at Dicker Data is led by Chris Price who re-joined the Company in January 2022 in the role of
General Manager - DAS. Mr Price is the former Commercial Director of Dicker Data, having worked for the Company
between 2006 and 2014. He has since held Director-level roles with other technology companies such as HP.

Dicker Data to Distribute HP Large Format Print
AUSTRALIA, Sydney – 10 May 2021: Dicker Data has today announced the expansion of its existing distribution agreement with HP in Australia to include Large Format Print. Effective Monday, 10th May 2021.
