How Does It Work?
Step 1: Who are we financing?
Reseller Financing
- DDFS finances the Reseller’s equipment purchases from Dicker Data
- Equipment is then managed by the Reseller
- Dicker Data collects lease payments from the Reseller
End User Financing
- Reseller introduces the finance opportunity directly to DDFS based on its quote to customer
- DDFS funds reseller invoice on delivery of the solution and collects lease payments from customer directly
- Pass-through Bill & Collect services can be added to the monthly payments if one monthly bill is desired
Step 2: Choose your lease

Lease
This finance option allows you to rent equipment for a set period and return it at the end of the lease. At that time, if the equipment still meets your needs and a refresh isn’t necessary, you can opt for a fair market value buyout.
Commercial Hire Purchase
This finance option features fixed payments over a nominated period with intervals that suit your needs. At the end of the lease term, you will own the equipment. This option is also applicable for software deals.Device-as-a-Service

Our flexible financing options can be leveraged for all categories of IT equipment that is used for business purposes; notebooks, servers, storage devices, networking equipment and more. Our team is committed to helping you and your customers access equipment finance when you need it.
We can finance any software or services billed as part of your invoice. We can also bill additional monthly recurring fees on a pass-through basis on your behalf for either software subscriptions or managed services. This is a key differentiator for DDFS, talk to our team to find out more.
Dicker Data Financial Services can finance invoices purchased directly through Dicker Data, where you are the lessee, and you can then offer the equipment on your own managed services agreement, to enable monthly repayments for your customer.

Working with partners to build out their own MSP infrastructure, DDFS can help partners accelerate their own recurring revenue streams by building the MSP infrastructure to service customers today – with the ability to upgrade and upscale as needed. With DDFS, partners can bolt on to existing recurring revenue streams through product or services add-ons. This gives partners the power to add their own offerings from devices and software through to warranties to build tailored and scalable solutions packaged to enable recurring revenue streams.
We understand how important it is to meet your business objectives, so DDFS will work to remit payment to you as soon as possible. Once your customer’s credit application is approved, and the rental agreement with supporting lease documentation is correctly completed and returned, we will typically remit payment within one week. Noting payment is paid upon the lessee signing off on the deployment of their leased items.
Finance is usually offered on a fixed lease term, which means it is non-cancellable, so there are implications for early termination. The terms of termination are set out in the rental agreement. If a flexible termination structure is required, please contact our team to discuss your customer’s requirements.
At the end of term, your customer can return the equipment or choose to continue to rent until they are ready to refresh. We will notify you of the end of term dates so that you can capture the refresh window and help your customer transition to their new technology solution.
