WHY DICKER DATA AS

Your Huntress Distributor

Dicker Data is proud to be partnered with Huntress, a leading managed cybersecurity platform built for IT providers protecting small and mid‑sized organisations. Together, we help Australian partners deliver always‑on protection across endpoints, identities, logs, and users, without the cost and complexity of standing up a Security Operations Centre (SOC).

Why Huntress?

Huntress delivers fully managed protection across endpoints, identities and users through its Agentic Security Platform, giving partners enterprise‑grade outcomes without the cost or complexity of an enterprise security team. The platform unifies endpoint, identity, log and user protection in a single managed experience, pairing independent Huntress telemetry with Microsoft signals and a 24/7, AI‑centric SOC. Built around outcomes rather than alerts, Huntress investigates and closes incidents on your behalf, so your team can stay focused on higher‑value, strategic work.

Huntress Solutions

Huntress Managed EDR
Managed endpoint detection and response

Provide real‑time protection and visibility for Windows, macOS, and Linux workstations and servers, backed by the Huntress SOC to detect and disrupt persistence, hands‑on‑keyboard activity, and stealthy tradecraft. What sets Huntress apart is its 24/7 AI-assisted SOC, which actively investigates alerts, validates real threats, and responds quickly, so internal teams and partners aren’t overwhelmed by false positives or alert fatigue. This managed-first approach ensures threats are detected and contained faster, helping organisations reduce dwell time, minimise impact, and stay resilient against even the most sophisticated attackers.

24/7 Protection for Identities and Access

Protect Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace identities against credential theft, session hijacking, rogue OAuth apps, and business email compromise with continuous monitoring and rapid, SOC‑driven response. As credential theft, session hijacking, and rogue OAuth applications become increasingly common, ITDR delivers enterprise-grade protection that monitors identity-based activity across the environment. Backed by the Huntress 24/7 AI-assisted SOC, suspicious identity behaviour is rapidly analysed and acted upon, reducing the risk of unauthorised access, lateral movement, and account takeover.

Security Visibility without SIEM Complexity

Ingest and filter security‑relevant logs from Microsoft, firewall, and other critical sources to get Huntress-backed threat hunting across logs. Support compliance and stop attackers earlier in the attack chain, without the overhead of running your own SIEM. Huntress Managed SIEM brings powerful security information and event management capabilities to teams that previously found SIEM out of reach. Designed to eliminate the traditional pain points of SIEM deployment, Huntress simplifies log management, threat detection, and compliance reporting while remaining fully managed by security experts. With continuous monitoring from the 24/7 AI-assisted SOC, organisations gain real-time insight into security events and faster, more confident incident response.

Smarter Training Aligned to Real Attacks

Story‑driven episodes, realistic phishing simulations with embedded coaching, and hands-on threat simulations, all built based on threat intelligence from the Huntress SOC to help reduce human risk and drive incidents down. It’s engaging, effective Security Awareness Training delivered as a managed program to keep admin overhead low. Huntress Security Awareness Training helps transform employees into a stronger line of defence against cyber threats.

Your Huntress Questions, Answered

What is Huntress Managed EDR?

Huntress Managed EDR is a managed endpoint detection and response solution that detects and disrupts advanced attacker tradecraft, like persistence, lateral movement, and living off the land techniques and can contain and remediate directly on endpoints on your customers’ behalf. It’s built to work seamlessly with Microsoft Defender AV and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

What is Huntress Managed ITDR?

Huntress Managed ITDR protects identities in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace by continuously monitoring sign ins and account activity to detect attacks before they can cause damage. It helps stop business email compromise, session hijacking, malicious OAuth apps, and other identity based attacks with rapid response from the Huntress SOC.

What is Huntress Managed SIEM?

Huntress Managed SIEM ingests and filters logs from Microsoft 365, Entra, Defender, firewalls, and other sources to surface meaningful threats earlier in the attack chain. It delivers compliance ready logging, hunt driven detections, and clear, actionable incident guidance, without the complexity and unpredictable costs of traditional SIEMs.

What is Huntress Managed SAT?

Huntress Managed SAT combines story driven training, realistic phishing simulations, and frontline threat intelligence from the Huntress SOC. The program is fully managed, helping your customers reduce human risk and satisfy compliance requirements while keeping administrative overhead low.

Do I need certifications to sell Huntress?

You don’t need Huntress specific certifications to start selling through Dicker Data. However, we strongly recommend taking advantage of Huntress and Dicker Data training and enablement to deepen your technical and sales expertise so you can position the platform confidently with customers.

How does Huntress work with Microsoft?

Huntress is built to operationalise Microsoft Security for under resourced teams. The platform ingests Microsoft telemetry, adds Huntress’ own tradecraft focused signal, and uses a 24/7 SOC to turn that combined data into concrete detection, investigation, and remediation so customers get more value from Microsoft 365 Business Premium, E3, and E5 without adding extra tools or headcount.

Do my customers still need Microsoft Defender if they use Huntress?

Huntress is designed to work with, not replace, Microsoft Defender. For many customers, the right move is to retire overlapping third party AV/EDR tools and lean into Defender plus Huntress for a unified, Microsoft first stack with managed detection and response, improving outcomes while reducing cost and complexity.

I’m an existing Huntress partner now, can I just move to Dicker Data?

Yes. Existing Huntress partners can choose to transact Huntress through Dicker Data.

What's the difference between MSSP and Resale for Huntress? How do we transact these?
  • MSSP / MSP model: This is for partners delivering Huntress as part of an ongoing managed (or co managed) security service. You own and operate the Huntress console across multiple customers, are billed monthly in arrears on a recurring basis, and benefit from tiered pricing based on your aggregate volume across tenants.

  • Resale / VAR model: Is a standard reseller discounts and a 12 month contract billed up front, typically transacted as an annual subscription per customer.
