M365 Copilot Business Billing is changing: What partners need to know before 2 November
Microsoft has announced that usage-based billing will be enabled by default for newly purchased Microsoft 365 Copilot Business licences from 2 November 2026. The per-user Microsoft 365 Copilot Business licence remains the foundation. From 2 November 2026, newly purchased Microsoft 365 Copilot Business licences will also have usage-based billing enabled by default for eligible metered experiences, with consumption charged separately through Copilot Credits when those experiences are used.
