Microsoft Copilot - Your AI Productivity Tool

Microsoft’s AI tool Copilot is rolling out to Microsoft 365 users. Touted as "the most powerful productivity tool on the planet", Copilot leverages the power of large language models to work with your existing Microsoft 365 data.

Copilot in Teams lets users ask questions, summarise meeting notes, and quickly organise meeting actions – all powered by responses sourced from meeting transcripts. In fact, recent research from Microsoft shows that, to date, the heaviest usage of Copilot has been with Teams.

70% of Copilot users said they were more productive, and 68% said it improved the quality of their work. 77% of users said once they had used Copilot, they didn’t want to give it up.

Smart Software Meets Smart Hardware

While certainly impressive enough on its own, where Copilot really begins to shine is as part of a complete Teams Rooms solution in the modern hybrid meeting space.

Many of Copilot’s most powerful and impactful features rely on maintaining speaker identities in meetings, and on leveraging clear meeting transcripts with attribution for every speaker. That’s where Certified Teams Rooms devices come into the picture.

The latest intelligent cameras, microphones and speakerphones offer features to help produce accurate transcripts and enable user profiles and speaker tracking, to ensure that Copilot can provide the same improvements to efficiency and productivity whether participants are remote or in-room.

A Solution For Any Space

The flexibility of the Microsoft Teams Rooms platform, including Copilot, means there is a Teams Rooms solution for any space. From small huddle spaces to training spaces to corporate boardrooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms is transforming meeting experiences.

However, to access the benefits of Copilot in these spaces, you need to install the right certified hardware - and there are now a myriad of devices, brands and options available for any Teams Rooms need. Android or Windows? What works with Copilot? Which licence? What about BYOD situations?
