Cisco Deal Registration

Deal registration enables partners to protect opportunities and access pricing benefits aligned to Cisco priorities.

Eligibility Criteria

Partners may be eligible to register a deal where they have identified, influenced, or created a new sales opportunity involving Cisco solutions. To qualify, the opportunity must be partner-led and not already fulfilled or owned by Cisco or another partner, represent new business or a meaningful expansion rather than a like-for-like renewal, include clear customer engagement and opportunity ownership, demonstrate a defined business need or project scope, and be submitted prior to formal quoting or competitive engagement.

Eligible Opportunities

Examples of eligible opportunities include new customer acquisitions, competitive displacement of non-Cisco solutions,
adoption of new architectures such as Security, Data Centre, AI, or Networking, expansion into new sites, users, or workloads, and
multi-architecture solution deals. Opportunities that are generally not eligible include standard renewals, price-only opportunities with no demonstrated partner influence, opportunities already registered by another partner, and broad market or government tenders.

Process

Deal registrations are submitted through Cisco’s Commerce Workspace (CCW) or via Cisco account teams and are reviewed
by Cisco based on opportunity ownership, the incremental value delivered to Cisco, and alignment to strategic priorities. Outcomes may include approval, where pricing protection and associated benefits are applied, rejection due to insufficient justification or conflict, or a request for further clarification. Partners should plan for a typical turnaround time of one to three business days, noting that this may vary depending on deal complexity.

Required Information

Bill of materials and full opportunity details.

Approval & Timelines

Typically 1–3 business days depending on deal complexity.

Terms & Conditions

Deal protection is typically valid for a defined period, noting that timeframes may change due to market constraints. Partners should review their approved deal carefully to confirm the expiry date and ensure the protection remains valid.

Partner Level Requirements

Partners must be a Cisco partner and achieve a value index score of at least one out of ten within the Cisco 360 Partner Program.
